аĿª½±Early Career Fellowships 2024-25

Applications are now invited for the 2024-25 round of аĿª½±Early Career Fellowships. These fellowships are intended to support early career mathematicians in the transition between PhD and a postdoctoral position.

The аĿª½±offers up to 8 fellowships of between 3 and 6 months to mathematicians who have recently or will shortly receive their PhD. The award will be calculated at £1,552 per month plus a travel allowance.

аĿª½±Distinguished Visiting Fellowships Programme (@ICMU)

The аĿª½±is delighted to have launched a joint programme with the newly formed International Centre for Mathematics in Ukraine (ICMU).

The аĿª½±Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Programme will allow mathematical scientists with recognised achievements in their disciplines to spend an period of time at the ICMU and give a series of lectures or a colloquium for the benefit of the Ukrainian mathematical community and students.

National Academy for Mathematical Sciences – аĿª½±Membership Update

A consultation on the establishment of Academy for the Mathematical Sciences was held by the proto-Academy for the Mathematical Sciences in the Summer of 2023. This was an opportunity to provide feedback on the work completed by the proto-Academy to date and input into the thinking of the planned work. All аĿª½±members were invited to participate directly.
