аĿª½±South West and South Wales Regional Meeting and Workshop 2024

The lectures are aimed at a general mathematical audience. All interested, both аĿª½±members and non-members, are most welcome to attend this event. 

This is an Ordinary Meeting of the Society. This day meeting takes place during the Ð°Ŀª½±Workshop on Representations of Groups and Lie Algebras from 17-19 January 2024.

All talks will be held in 4 West on the Claverton Down campus of the University of Bath.

The lecture theatre is 4W 1.7 (Wolfson) and on Friday it will take place on 4W 1.1.

Wednesday 17 January, 09:00-12:00 (GMT)
Graduate meeting

Tomaz Brzezinski will deliver a short introductory course on quantum groups (2 hours) and graduate participants will be invited to give lightening talks (roughly 10 minutes each).
