The UNESCO international official launch planned for Friday,ÌýMarch 13, 2020 has been cancelled because ofÌýthe COVID-19 epidemic. For the same reason, the Next Einstein Forum 2020 (March 10-13, 2020) in Nairobi, Kenya,Ìýthat included the African official launch of the IDM, was postponed. As a consequence, a specialÌýÌýwill accompany all events worldwide on March 14, starting 00:00 New Zealand time.ÌýIt will show the new collaborative video,ÌýMathematics is Everywhere, created by the international IDM community.Ìý ThroughoutÌýtheÌýday, it will alsoÌýpostÌýspecial announcements, videos, photos and reports from the celebrationsÌýtaking place in more than 100 different countries.
